Nazywam się Tomasz Wolff, jestem kaliszaninem, urodzonym 5 października 1973 roku. Jestem absolwentem I L.O. im. Adama Asnyka, gdzie zdałem maturę w 1993 roku. Swoją artystyczną drogę kontynuowałem na poznańskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych, zdobywając tytuł magistra sztuki w 2002 roku. Mieszkam i pracuję w Kaliszu.
Od 1998 roku prowadzę studio projektowe „Point – grafika użytkowa”, gdzie realizuję projekty, dla instytucji kultury oraz klientów komercyjnych, z zakresu szeroko pojętej kreatywnej grafiki użytkowej. Od samego początku działam jako freelancer, ceniąc sobie niezależność. Największą satysfakcję przynoszą mi projekty autorskie i przedsięwzięcia czysto artystyczne.
Eksperymentalna muzyka elektroniczna stanowi ważny aspekt mojej twórczości. Tworzę ją przez samplowanie i zapętlanie istniejących dźwięków oraz kreowanie całkiem nowych brzmień. Choć moja muzyka nie jest ilustracyjna, pracując nad nią zawsze myślę o obrazie i kolorze, które są dla mnie największą inspiracją. Dlatego też swoje działania w tej dziedzinie opisuję hasłem „sound of color”.
Od pewnego czasu realizuję projekty oparte na obrazie ruchomym. Tworzę projekcje wideo, które stanowią elementy scenografii przedstawień teatralnych i wydarzeń kulturalnych.
Współpracuję z instytucjami kultury w Kaliszu i w całej Polsce. Moje plakaty promowały takie wydarzenia jak Międzynarodowy Festiwal „Chopin w barwach jesieni”, Międzynarodowy Festiwal Pianistów Jazzowych, Międzynarodowy Festiwal Artystycznych Działań Ulicznych „La Strada” oraz koncerty Filharmonii Kaliskiej. Zaprojektowałem scenografię do ostatnich pięciu edycji Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Pianistów Jazzowych w Kaliszu. Ilustracje mojego autorstwa można było zobaczyć w czasopiśmie „Press” i programach do przedstawień warszawskiego Teatru Dramatycznego. Opracowywałem i projektowałem materiały promocyjne oraz wydawnictwa na Warszawskie Spotkania Teatralne. Animowane projekcje mojego autorstwa stanowiły część scenografii do przedstawień Teatru Muzycznego w Toruniu: „Pan Kleks. Powrót” w reżyserii Agnieszki Płoszajskiej oraz „Zadyma Dymny” w reżyserii Janusza Grzywacza i Agnieszki Płoszajskiej. W Teatrze im. Wojciecha Bogusławskiego w Kaliszu stworzyłem projekcje do przedstawień „Trzy po trzy” i „Nikt nie spotyka nikogo” w reżyserii Rudolfa Zioło, a także współpracowałem przy projekcjach do przedstawień „Dziwny przypadek psa nocną porą” w reżyserii Bartosza Zaczykiewicza oraz „Cicha noc” w reżyserii Jana Buchwalda. Od 2022 roku współpracuję z Teatrem Wybrzeże, gdzie stworzyłem plakat do przedstawienia „Koło Sprawy Bożej” w reżyserii Radka Stępnia oraz projektuję i animuję comiesięczne repertuary i projekcje reklamujące spektakle na Scenie Kameralnej w Sopocie.

My name is Tomasz Wolff. I am a native of Kalisz, born on October 5, 1973. I graduated from Adam Asnyk High School in 1993 and continued my artistic journey at the Poznań Academy of Fine Arts, earning my Master of Arts degree in 2002. I live and work in Kalisz.
Since 1998, I have been running the design studio "Point - Applied Graphics," where I execute projects for cultural institutions and commercial clients in the broad field of creative applied graphics. From the very beginning, I have operated as a freelancer, valuing my independence. My greatest satisfaction comes from authorial projects and purely artistic endeavors.
Experimental electronic music is an important aspect of my creativity. I create it by sampling and looping existing sounds and crafting entirely new tones. Although my music is not illustrative, when working on it, I always think of images and colors, which are my greatest inspiration. That is why I describe my activities in this field with the slogan "sound of color."
Recently, I have been working on projects based on moving images. I create video projections that serve as elements of stage design for theater productions and cultural events.
I collaborate with cultural institutions in Kalisz and throughout Poland. My posters have promoted events such as the International Festival "Chopin in the Colors of Autumn," the International Festival of Jazz Pianists, the International Festival of Street Artistic Actions "La Strada," and concerts of the Kalisz Philharmonic. I designed the stage design for the last five editions of the International Festival of Jazz Pianists in Kalisz. My illustrations have been featured in the magazine "Press" and in programs for performances at the Dramatyczny Theater in Warsaw. I have developed and designed promotional materials and publications for the Warsaw Theater Meetings. Animated projections I created were part of the stage design for productions at the Musical Theater in Toruń: "Mr. Kleks. Return" directed by Agnieszka Płoszajska and "Zadyma Dymny" directed by Janusz Grzywacz and Agnieszka Płoszajska. At the Wojciech Bogusławski Theater in Kalisz, I created projections for the performances "Three for Three" and "Nobody Meets Nobody" directed by Rudolf Zioło, and also collaborated on projections for the performances "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" directed by Bartosz Zaczykiewicz and "Silent Night" directed by Jan Buchwald. Since 2022, I have been collaborating with the Wybrzeże Theater, where I created a poster for the production "Koło Sprawy Bożej" directed by Radek Stępień, and I design and animate monthly repertoires and projections advertising performances on the Small Stage in Sopot.
